Job summary

Bergdorf Goodman, Inc. in New York seeks a Busser to support our luxury Italian café, ensuring the dining room is impeccably maintained and service flows smoothly.

You will clear and reset tables, assist servers, refill items, and uphold health and safety standards in a fast-paced, high-end environment. Prior restaurant or hospitality experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Prior restaurant or hospitality experience preferred.
• Luxury or fine dining experience a plus.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Clear and reset tables promptly and discreetly between guests.
• Assist servers and captains to ensure smooth and efficient service.
• Refill water, bread, and other table items as directed.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining room, service stations, and back-of-house areas.
• Properly handle and polish china, glassware, and silverware, including Ginori porcelain.
• Support opening and closing duties, including setup, breakdown, and sanitation.
• Follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines in NYC regulations.
