Job summary

Temple Health – Temple University Health System seeks a Transplant Support Coordinator to aid transplant teams. You will work closely with Transplant Nurse Coordinators and Transplant Data Coordinators to support patient care and the transplant workflow.

Responsibilities include communicating with patients and physicians, organizing tests and pre-procedure requirements, retrieving results, and scheduling complex testing sequences at Temple University Hospital or other sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in health care related field is required.
• Combination of relevant education and experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
• General experience with medical terminology is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with Transplant Nurse Coordinators or Transplant Data Coordinators.
• Support the coordinator through tasks including communication with patients and physicians.
• Organize tests and pre-procedure requirements.
• Retrieve test results and schedule complex testing sequences.
• Coordinate at Temple University Hospital or elsewhere.
