Job summary

Ann Arbor Open at Mack in Ann Arbor, MI is seeking a Noon Hour Supervisor for grades Y5-8 to supervise students during lunch and playtime on-site.

You will organize group games, direct movement between playground, lunchroom and classrooms, and assist with lunchroom cleanup. A high school diploma or GED is required. The position reports to the On-site Noon Hour Coordinator/Building Principal and emphasizes safety and peaceful conflict resolution.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to write simple correspondence and present information to staff.

Responsibilities

• Supervise students during playtime and lunchtime and encourage peaceful resolution of conflicts.
• Organize group games and activities.
• Assume responsibility for play equipment.
• Direct movement of groups to and from playground, lunchroom and classrooms in a safe and organized manner.
• Assist students in lunch room clean-up.
• Other duties may be assigned.
