Job summary

The Woodside Primary Academy is seeking a caring Midday Assistant to help provide a safe, joyful lunchtime for pupils. You will support children with table manners, supervise play, and help with basic first aid during the lunch period.

You will work as part of REAch2 Academy Trust, upholding our safeguarding standards and promoting positive behaviour while building strong relationships with pupils and staff.

Qualifications

• Experience working with primary aged children.
• Basic understanding of child development.
• Enthusiasm and dedication for lunchtime support.

Responsibilities

• Support children during lunchtime and manage behaviour.
• Assist with safe use of cutlery and table manners.
• Administer minor first aid and supervise welfare.
