Job summary

Woodridge School District 68 is seeking a Lunchroom Supervisor to supervise students during lunch, organize lines for food purchases, and ensure orderly seating and dining habits. The role includes assisting with cleanup and reporting disciplinary issues to the Principal.

Basic first aid training and the ability to administer the Heimlich maneuver are required. 1.5 hours per day on school days, with compensation at $16.09 per hour.

Qualifications

• Must have aptitude for supervising children.
• Basic first aid knowledge and ability to administer Heimlich maneuver.

Responsibilities

• Organizes students into orderly lines for purchasing food.
• Supervises students during lunch period and lunchtime recess/daily P.E.
• Ensures seating assignments and waste disposal procedures are followed.
• Assists with cleanup inside the classroom as needed.
• Informs the Principal of any serious infraction of disciplinary rules.
• Performs other duties as assigned by the Principal.
