Job summary

Woodridge68 is seeking a Lunchroom Supervisor to provide supervision and maintain a clean, orderly atmosphere during lunch periods.

You will organize students into orderly lines, oversee food service and seating, help students develop proper dining habits, and administer basic first aid as needed.

Work is 1.5 hours per day on full student attendance days, with a starting pay of $16.09 per hour, and opportunities to support a safe, positive school environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma.
• Demonstrates aptitude for supervising children.
• Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Organizes students into orderly lines for purchasing food and seating assignments.
• Instructs and reinforces proper dining habits.
• Establishes entry, food purchase, seating, and waste disposal procedures.
• Administers Heimlich maneuver and basic first aid.
• Circulates among students during lunch and provides assistance.
• Informs the Principal of any serious disciplinary infractions.
• Supervises students during lunchtime recess and daily P.E.
• Assists with classroom cleanup as needed.
• Performs other duties as assigned by the Principal.

Job Summary

Organizes students into orderly lines for purchasing food, and sees that they go to assigned tables.
Helps students develop and observe proper dining habits.

Establishes procedures for entry, food purchase, seating assignments and waste disposal.

Be able to administer the Heimlich maneuver and basic first aid.

Circulates among the students during the lunch period and provides assistance as needed.

Informs the Principal of any serious infraction of disciplinary rules.

Supervises students during lunchtime recess/daily P.E.

Assist with cleanup inside the classroom, as needed.

Performs such other duties as the Principal may from time to time assign.
