Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required or preferred.
• Experience working with children is preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively with students, staff, and parents.
• Ability to enforce rules and regulations in a fair and consistent manner.
• Ability to remain calm and composed in stressful situations.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, and move around for extended periods.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
• Must pass a background check and drug test.

Responsibilities

• Supervise students during lunch and recess to ensure safety and well-being.
• Encourage positive behavior and discourage negative behavior.
• Respond to student needs and concerns promptly and appropriately.
• Monitor playground and equipment for safety and good condition.
• Report safety concerns or incidents to appropriate personnel.
• Maintain a clean and organized lunchroom and playground area.
