Job summary

Bay Area Church and Christian School is seeking a Lunchroom Coordinator to supervise daily lunchroom operations, support staff, and ensure food safety, cleanliness, and excellent customer service for students and staff.

You will work closely with the Lunchroom Supervisor, coordinate training, lead inventory and ordering, and help maintain a welcoming environment in a fast-paced school setting.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 3+ years in food service, preferably in a school environment.
  • Certification: Texas Driver’s License and Texas Food Handler’s Card (required on hire).

Responsibilities

  • Oversee lunchroom operations and staff in the absence of the Lunchroom Supervisor.
  • Ensure sanitation and food safety standards are met throughout the day.
  • Conduct inventory counts and place weekly supply/food orders (including Sam’s Club).
  • Support training and onboarding of new staff and lead staff appreciation initiatives.
