Job summary

ReNEW Schools in Logansport, IN is seeking a part-time Lunchroom Supervisor to oversee students from entry to exit during the school day. The role runs 11:00am to 1:15pm, 180 days per year, supporting a clean, safe dining environment.

You will work with fellow staff to supervise, guide students, and ensure sanitary standards while performing duties such as refilling supplies and reporting spills. This position emphasizes reliability, basic reading/writing skills, and a positive customer-service

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED desirable.
• Ability to read and write.
• Lift at least 15 pounds.
• Great customer service and ability to work with children.

Job Description

• Responsible for overseeing students from the time they enter the lunchroom until they the time they leave. You will supervise and instruct students while maintaining a calm, efficient, sanitary environment
• Able to work cooperatively with other employees and supervisors
• This position works 180 days and follows the school year calendar
• This position works 2.25 hours/day from 11:00am to 1:15pm.

Job Requirements

• Supervising students, keeping tables clean and sanitized, refill condiments, silverware and napkins as needed
• Report any spills, dropped trays or accidents to your supervisor immediately.
• Complete any and all assigned duties as directed by your supervisor
• Work will be done efficiently and accurately
• Follow all Federal, State and Local guidelines
• Upon offer, applicant must complete and clear a drug screen and expanded criminal history background check for school personnel as required by IN state law.

Job Qualifications
