Job summary

Faribault Public Schools is seeking a Lunch Room Paraprofessional for the 2026-2027 school year at Faribault High School. The role is three hours daily (10:30 a.m.–1:30 p.m.), five days a week, starting 09/01/2026, providing lunchroom supervision and support.

The position requires a High School Diploma; prior school experience is preferred, with strong organizational and communication skills and the ability to follow administration directions.

Job Description

A part-time Class 2 Lunchroom Supervision Paraprofessional, three (3) hours per day (10:30 a.m.-1:30p.m.), five (5) days per week at the Faribault High School for the 26-27 school year. The position involves providing support and supervision in the lunchroom. This position begins 09/01/2026.

Qualifications

High School Diploma. Experience working in a school setting preferred. Ability to take and follow through with direction from administration, with excellent organization and communication skills. Ability to demonstrate a calm approach when working with students and adults.Ability to work independently.

Essential Functions

• Maintaining a safe environment for students
• Ensure students leave and head back to class on time
• Work with students to ensure they clean up after themselves.
