East-Maine-School-District-63 is seeking a Lunchroom/Recess Supervisor to oversee students during lunch and recess. You will supervise, assist, and guide students to ensure safe, orderly procedures and smooth operation of the cafeteria and playground areas.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and being over 18, with shifts starting around 11:05 AM for 60 to 90 minutes. Strong English communication and a calm, proactive approach are essential.

Qualificações

• Federal, state, and district policies, regulations and laws pertaining to job functions.
• Preparing and maintaining accurate records.
• Business appropriate grammar and punctuation in English.
• Reading and spoken fluency and comprehension in English.
• Basic mathematical skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
• Safety practices.

Responsabilidades

• Supervise lunch and recess, guiding students to follow procedures.
• Circulate to assist students with tasks (e.g., opening food packages).
• Assist in lunchroom cleanup.
• Monitor behavior and resolve conflicts peacefully.
• Manage safe movement of children to/from playground, classroom, and lunchroom.
• Maintain a safe environment for students at all times.
• Ensure compliance with emergency procedures as adopted by the District and authorities.
• Report safety, sanitary and other hazards to supervisor.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
