Hours

Responsibilities

• Supervise students during lunch and recess to ensure their safety and well-being.
• Facilitate positive interactions among students, promoting teamwork and conflict resolution.
• Assist students with their lunch routines, including food choices and clean-up procedures.
• Monitor student behavior and enforce school rules and policies consistently and fairly.
• Provide support to students with special needs, as directed by the supervising teacher or administrator.
• Communicate effectively with teachers and staff regarding student behavior and any concerns that may arise.
• Organize and lead recreational activities to encourage physical activity and social engagement.
• Assist in maintaining a clean and orderly lunchroom and playground environment.
• Attend training sessions and staff meetings as required.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or experience in education or child development is a plus.
• Previous experience working with children in an educational or recreational setting preferred.
