Job summary

Hebrew Public is seeking a dedicated Lunch & Recess Aide to support students during lunch and recess and help foster safety and social-emotional development. You will be part of a team ensuring a positive, orderly lunch experience and supervised outdoor activities.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and experience with children; additional CPR/First Aid credentials are a plus and may enhance job readiness.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience working with children required.
• American Red Cross First Aid Training Certificate is a plus.
• Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Certificate is a plus.
• Experience working with students with special needs and accessibility equipment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Supervises student behavior during lunch and recess, enforcing rules.
• Supports students with maintaining a clean lunch environment.
• Leads student activities during indoor and outdoor recess; outdoor work in all seasons.
• Monitors student movement between classrooms and common areas (bathrooms, nurse).
• Participate in food service training as needed.
• Other lunch duties as assigned.
