Wethersfield Public Schools in Wethersfield, CT, seeks a Lunch and Recess Aide to join elementary schools immediately. The position runs 11:00am to 2:00pm (approx. 3 hours daily) with $18.95 per hour compensation, reporting to the Principal.

You will supervise students in the cafeteria, reinforce safe, respectful behavior, and assist with recess supervision and school staff collaboration. Candidates should demonstrate strong communication, a cooperative work style, and the ability to work

Responsabilidades

• Serve as adult supervision in the cafeteria during the lunch period.
• Encourage students to behave in a safe, positive and respectful manner.
• Monitor and immediately address student issues that require intervention and corrective action.
• Constantly move throughout cafeteria to support and interact with students in a positive and friendly manner.
• Escort and supervise students during lunch recess, ensuring safe and appropriate play during the recess period.
• Work collaboratively with both the school staff and cafeteria staff.
• Report issues and opportunities for improvement to school administration.
