COBURN SCHOOL
Reports to: School Administrator
Consistently circulate around cafeteria tables to assist children and supervise the lunchroom.
Monitor lunch line as children enter the cafeteria.
Actively participate in, follow, reinforce and reteach all school-wide and district rules, policies, and expectations. Lunch monitors shall be trained in and have the same expectations as all school staff regarding appropriate student behavior.
Ensure the safety of all children during outdoor and indoor recess. Lunch monitors will have specific areas to monitor and move about within to provide for maximum student safety.
Patiently provide guidance and assistance to all children whether eating or playing.
Engage in appropriate conversation with children to build positive relationships.
Provide a clean eating surface at each lunch as well as all necessary implements or packets for eating and drinking.
Salary: $15.00/hr
