Columbia Heights Public Schools at Valley View Elementary is seeking a Lunch Duty Monitor to provide safety and supervision in the cafeteria and playground for roughly two and a half hours each school day during lunch and recess.

The position requires a High School Diploma or GED. Candidates should be calm and patient with children, with preference for experience working with diverse populations. Starting pay is $24.20 per hour, calendar follows the 183 days/year student schedule.

Responsabilités

• Provide safety and supervision in cafeteria and on playground at the elementary level for two hours each school day during lunch and recess.
• There will be outside recess duty and indoor lunchroom supervision.
• Lunch Duty Monitor is responsible for keeping students safe and respectful during lunch and recess each day.
• This includes keeping the students on schedule and enforcing school expectations.
