Job summary

The Yay Company is seeking a Lunch Coordinator to ensure lunchtime runs smoothly and joyfully, delivering fresh, healthy meals to students and maintaining an inviting grab-and-go area.

Ideal candidates are punctual, team players who enjoy kids, bring positive energy, and can work 2–3 hours daily on a flexible schedule. Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs and pass background checks. This role is on-site in Raleigh, NC.

Qualifications

• Willing to learn, take direction, and be a real team player.
• A positive attitude and genuine interest in healthy food for kids.
• ServSafe Food Handler Certification (or willingness to get it within your first 14 days)
• Able to pass a pre-employment background check (and any additional school-required certifications)
• A smartphone for job-related communication
• Valid driver's license and auto insurance

You'll help get fresh, healthy meals into kids' hands with a smile, keep the grab‑and‑go looking sharp, and be one of the friendly faces students look forward to seeing every day. This role is perfect for someone who genuinely likes being around kids, shows up on time, and thrives in a fast, upbeat environment.

What We’re Looking For

• Someone reliable, punctual, and easy to work with who genuinely enjoys being around kids
• A friendly, outgoing personality that makes lunchtime feel welcoming
• Available 2–3 hours a day (typically 10:30 AM–12:30 PM), Monday–Friday
• Able to lift and carry up to 30 lbs on your own
