Job summary

Andover Public Schools’ Robert Martin Elementary is seeking a part-time Lunch Aide to supervise students in the lunchroom, ensuring orderly service and safety during meals.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, ability to work with diverse students, strong interpersonal skills, confidentiality, and readiness to handle noisy environments and emergencies. This position is 10 hours per week during school lunch periods.

Responsibilities

• Assist in regular routines including but not limited to assisting with student line-up for food service in the lunchroom during food service periods.

• Monitor students as they enter and exit the food service area.
• Assist in rearrangement of food service areas, cleaning and maintaining general orderliness.
• Adhere to all district health and safety policies including all precautions of the Bloodborne Pathogens Exposure Control Plan.
