Astrolab, The Lunar Operations Company, invites an Industrial Designer to shape the visual language of rover and system hardware designed for lunar missions. Based in Hawthorne, CA, you will bridge engineering and marketing to ensure form aligns with mission-critical performance.

You will partner with the Chief Creative Designer and Head of Marketing, delivering production-ready concepts while guiding CMF choices and cross-functional design decisions forAstrolab hardware on the Moon.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in industrial design or related field.
• Experience taking physical products from concept to production.
• Proficiency with Blender, Adobe Creative Suite; Alias knowledge a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead industrial design from concept sketches to production-ready forms.
• Collaborate with aerospace and mechanical engineers on lunar constraints.
• Own CMF strategy to translate material behavior into a cohesive visual language.
• Work at the intersection of marketing, design and engineering to align brand with hardware.
