Job summary

Odyssey Space Research, LLC invites applications for a full-time experienced Simulation Engineer to advance the Lunar Terrain Vehicle Services. The role involves developing software in C/C++ on Linux, implementing terrain relative navigation, and modeling lunar vehicle dynamics in a simulated environment.

You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team across aerospace, software, and physics to push space exploration boundaries.

Qualifications

• BS/MS/PhD in Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or similar STEM degree from accredited universities.
• U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident due to nature of work.
• Proficiency with C/C++ and Linux development environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop and support software for the Lunar Terrain Vehicle Services (LTVS).
• Implement terrain relative navigation and dead reckoning algorithms.
• Model vehicle components and simulate lunar interactions in a virtual environment.
• Collaborate with cross‑disciplinary teams to advance space exploration.
