Job summary

Blue Origin in Seattle, WA is seeking a Manager of Lunar Avionics Component Test. Lead a team of Avionics Component Test Engineers through development, qualification, and production-acceptance testing for Blue Moon avionics components.

You will partner with Design Responsible Engineers, Quality, Operations/Production and other teams to deliver integrated test solutions across the full component lifecycle. A strong safety culture and leadership are essential in this fast-paced lab environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or closely related discipline.
• 6+ years hands-on experience in development, qualification, or acceptance test of complex electrical, avionics, or electromechanical systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot and perform causal analysis on electrical and systems-level faults.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and hands-on support for development, qualification, and acceptance testing of avionics components.
• Develop test plans, procedures, and requirements meeting developmental and production objectives.
• Review and approve critical technical outputs including test plans, procedures, and verification reports.
• Coordinate with internal customers to plan, schedule, and allocate resources for avionics component test campaigns.
• Establish and maintain team metrics and project tracking frameworks to monitor execution health.
