Job summary

Performance Food Group (New) seeks a Warehouse Associate in Victoria, TX to move product from trailers to dock areas using a forklift or pallet jack, ensuring safe handling and adherence to quality standards.

Work in a multi-temperature environment, stand and lift repeatedly, and support efficient flow of goods while meeting safety regulations and schedules.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent Experience.
• 6 Months - 1 Year Warehouse and/or production work experience.
• Able to stand, walk, reach and lift repeatedly throughout shift.
• Must be able to work the scheduled times and overtime for the position.
• Able to lift, stack, and/or pull products weighing 10-35 pounds and up to 60-100 pounds depending on location.
• Able to work in multi-temperature environments (cooler, freezer, dry).
• Pass post offer drug test and criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Move product from trailer to appropriate dock staging area in a safe, efficient manner.
• Sort and segregate pallets / product as necessary.
• Check product for damages and alert receivers if necessary.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Complies with all policies and standards.

Position Summary:

Responsible for moving product with a forklift or pallet jack from trailer to another area of the warehouse dock during receiving process. Observing all safety regulations and ensuring all quality standards are met while maintaining the efficient flow of product through the production process. Functions as a team member within the department and organization, as required, and perform any duties assigned to best serve the company.

Position Responsibilities:

• Move product from trailer to appropriate dock staging area in a safe, efficient manner.
• Sort and segregate pallets / product, as necessary.
• Check product for damages and alert receivers, if necessary.
• Performs other duties as assigned
• Complies with all policies and standards

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent Experience
• 6 Months - 1 Year Warehouse and / or production work experience.
• Must be able to work the scheduled / assigned times and required overtime for the position.
• Able to stand, walk, reach and lift repeatedly throughout shift
• Able to lift, stack, and/or pull products off shelves, as well as replenish product, from various heights weighing between 10-35 pounds and generally up to between approximately 60 and 100 pounds, depending on the location, throughout shift
• Able to work in multi-temperature environments, i.e. cooler, freezer and dry
• Pass post offer drug test and criminal background check

Preferred qualifications:

• High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent Experience
• 1 - 3 Years Warehouse and / or production work experience.
• Forklift Certification - OSHA Forklift operator certificate
