Job summary

Performance Food Group is seeking a warehouse associate for its Performance Foodservice operations in Clanton, AL. This role involves moving product with a forklift or pallet jack from trailer to dock, following safety rules, and maintaining efficient flow during receiving. Shift is Monday–Friday starting at 6 AM.

Pay starts at $15 per hour with comprehensive benefits from Day 1 and growth opportunities. Requires a High School Diploma or GED, 6 months to 1 year of warehouse experience, ability

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent.
• 6 months - 1 year warehouse/production experience.
• Able to lift 10-35 lbs and up to 60-100 lbs depending on location.
• Able to stand, walk, reach and lift repeatedly throughout shift.
• Must pass post-offer drug test and criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Move product from trailer to appropriate dock staging area in a safe, efficient manner.
• Sort and segregate pallets / product, as necessary.
• Check product for damages and alert receivers, if necessary.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Complies with all policies and standards.

Position Summary

Responsible for moving product with a forklift or pallet jack from trailer to another area of the warehouse dock during receiving process. Observing all safety regulations and ensuring all quality standards are met while maintaining the efficient flow of product through the production process. Functions as a team member within the department and organization, as required, and perform any duties assigned to best serve the company.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent Experience
• 6 Months - 1 Year Warehouse and / or production work experience.
• Must be able to work the scheduled / assigned times and required overtime for the position.
• Able to stand, walk, reach and lift repeatedly throughout shift
• Able to lift, stack, and/or pull products off shelves, as well as replenish product, from various heights weighing between 10-35 pounds and generally up to between approximately 60 and 100 pounds, depending on the location, throughout shift
• Able to work in multi-temperature environments, i.e. cooler, freezer and dry
• Pass post offer drug test and criminal background check

Preferred qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent Experience
• 1 - 3 Years Warehouse and / or production work experience.

Licenses and Certifications

• Forklift Certification - OSHA Forklift operator certificate
