Job summary

84 Lumber is seeking a full-time Hot Shot Puller in our warehouse to accurately pull outgoing and staging orders, and to serve as a material handler, inventory associate, and forklift operator. You will contribute to safe, efficient yard operations and on-time order fulfillment.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading freight, restocking returns, maintaining a clean, organized yard, monitoring for discrepancies, and communicating delays to management.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos; write simple correspondence; effectively present information to others one-on-one
• Must be able to periodically lift up to 80 pounds
• High school diploma or GED or equivalent

The full-time Hot Shot Puller is responsible for accurately and promptly pulling outgoing and staging orders (fill-in and will-call). This is a warehouse associate position that acts as a material handler, inventory associate, and forklift operator. Other duties include:

• Loading and unloading freight such as lumber and/or building supplies.
• Processing and restocking returns.
• Maintaining a safe, clean and well-organized lumber yard and caring for equipment.
• Shrink control.
• Forklift training, certification, and operation.
• Communicating delays or discrepancies to management.
