84 Lumber is actively seeking a full-time Hot Shot Puller to efficiently pull outgoing orders and stage them for loading. This role blends material handling, inventory attention, and forklift operation within a busy lumber yard.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading freight, restocking returns, keeping the yard safe and organized, and communicating delays to management. A high school diploma or GED is required, with physical ability to lift up to 80 pounds.

Qualifications

• Must be able to periodically lift up to 80 pounds.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and memos.

Responsibilities

• Pull outgoing orders and prepare them for shipment.
• Put up returns and maintain proper stock levels.
• Care for/maintain equipment and keep work area clean.
• Monitor for shrink and report discrepancies to management.
• Operate forklift and adhere to safety procedures.

The full-time Hot Shot Puller is responsible for accurately and promptly pulling outgoing and staging orders (fill-in and will-call). This is a warehouse associate position that acts as a material handler, inventory associate, and forklift operator. Other duties include:

• Loading and unloading freight such as lumber and/or building supplies.
• Processing and restocking returns.
• Maintaining a safe, clean and well-organized lumber yard and caring for equipment.
• Shrink control.
• Forklift training, certification, and operation.
• Communicating delays or discrepancies to management.
