Job summary

Marvin Home Center is hiring a Lumberyard Load Builder who will load and unload materials, assist customers, and ensure safe, accurate orders. The role requires lifting heavy items, operating forklifts, and maintaining a clean, organized yard.

You will work Monday–Friday with rotating weekend hours, in a fast-paced environment that emphasizes safety and customer service. Marvin offers a comprehensive benefits package and a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Experience with material handling and loading/unloading procedures.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to follow safety protocols and report incidents.
• Capable of operating basic shop tools and equipment.
• Ability to lift heavy materials and work in varied conditions.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload materials accurately according to orders.
• Secure loads for transport and operate forklifts.
• Assist customers with loading materials as needed.
• Maintain clean, organized lumberyard and report hazards.
• Coordinate with drivers and supervisors to ensure smooth operations.
