Qualifications

• Must be proficient on a lift truck and have at least 6 months lift truck experience.
• Ability to perform 4-function basic math (add, subtract, multiply, divide).
• Previous lumber industry experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Operate large forklifts to load lumber pallets onto delivery trucks.
• Load and unload lumber with lift truck.
• Move large loads on lumber onto delivery trucks.
• Put together lumber packages.
• Maneuver heavy objects.
• Use two-way radio for communication.
• Inspect equipment before and during operation.
• Read and follow safety procedures and shipping paperwork.
