Job description

Overview

The Associate is responsible for building loads for deliveries. Additionally, the Yard Person Benefits include maintaining a safe, clean, and well-organized lumber yard, loading and unloading lumber and/or building supplies, and operating a forklift. Other duties may be assigned.

Pay: $17-$19/hr

Responsibilities:

1. Build loads for delivery
2. Load and unload lumber and building supplies
3. Operate a forklift
4. Keep management informed of any delays or discrepancies
5. Maintain a clean, well-organized, and safe lumber yard

Qualifications:

1. Ability to read and understand simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos; write simple correspondence; effectively present information one-on-one.
2. Ability to apply common sense understanding and follow simple one or two-step instructions; handle standardized situations with minimal variables.
