Lake Lumber Co. is seeking a dependable Lumberyard & Delivery Associate. This hands-on role helps customers get the right materials with friendly, efficient service. You’ll work outdoors, stay active, and be part of a team that values hard work and customer service.

You’ll load, deliver, and stock materials, assist customers, and operate forklifts with training provided. Join us for opportunities to grow with a community-focused company.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
• Regularly lift and move materials up to 50 pounds.
• Strong work ethic, dependable attendance, and positive attitude.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload building materials safely and efficiently.
• Assist customers with loading purchases and picking up orders.
• Prepare and stage materials for pickups and deliveries.
• Deliver materials to customers using company vehicles (DL required).
• Operate forklifts and other handling equipment (training provided).
• Receive, stock, and organize inventory.
• Keep the lumberyard clean, organized, and safe.
• Collaborate with sales team for accurate, timely orders.
• Provide outstanding customer service every day.

What You'll Do

• Loading and unloading building materials safely and efficiently.
• Assisting customers with loading purchases and picking up orders.
• Preparing and staging materials for customer pickups and deliveries.
• Delivering building materials to customers using company vehicles (valid driver's license required).
• Operating forklifts and other material handling equipment (training provided).
• Receiving, stocking, and organizing inventory.
• Keeping the lumberyard clean, organized, and safe.
• Working closely with the sales team to ensure accurate and timely order fulfillment.
• Providing outstanding customer service every day.

What We're Looking For

• A valid driver's license with a good driving record.
• The ability to safely lift 50 pounds or more on a regular basis.
• A strong work ethic, dependable attendance, and a positive attitude.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience with building materials, construction, forklift operation, or general labor is a plus, but not required-we're happy to train the right person.
