Job summary

84 Lumber is seeking a forklift operator to build loads for delivery and maintain a safe, organized lumber yard. The role includes loading and unloading lumber and building supplies, operating a forklift, and supporting daily operations to ensure timely shipments.

You will work to keep the yard clean and safe, communicate delays to management, and assist in maintaining efficient loading processes in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos; write simple correspondence; effectively present information to others one‑on‑one.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding and carry out simple one‑ or two‑step instructions; deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.
• Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent
