Job summary

84 Lumber is hiring for a full-time Millwork Manufacturer role at our San Diego facility. The position involves production line work in the millwork area, including sanding, sawing, and staining, with emphasis on quality and safety. Training for forklift operation is provided.

PAY: $18.00+ per hour, DOE, plus full benefits.

Responsibilities

The full-time, hourly Millwork Manufacturer works as a production and warehouse associate andassembler in the custom millwork manufacturing area, and is responsible for, but not limited to:

• Sanding, sawing, and staining of millwork products on the production line.
• Monitoring quality assurance throughout the production process.
• Maintaining a clean and safe work environment and observing all safety rules posted in the warehouse.
• Forklift training, certification, and operation.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos; write simple correspondence; effectively present information to others one-on-one
• Must be able to periodically lift up to 80 pounds
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
