Job Description Summary
A Cashier associate must provide excellent customer service by greeting customers as they enter the store and processing transactions accurately and promptly. The role includes greeting customers at the register, scanning merchandise, handling sales, refunds, and exchanges, and closing transactions. Additional responsibilities involve training, maintenance, stocking, and supporting team efforts. As the first and last point of contact for customers, the Cashier should consistently greet customers and thank them upon exit.

A Successful Cashier Associate:
Demonstrates CNRG’s Mission and Values consistently, possesses strong communication skills, and is customer and team-oriented. Must be organized, able to manage multiple tasks, and physically capable of climbing ladders, reaching, bending, lifting up to 50 lbs., and handling diverse items. Must have good money counting skills, product knowledge, and flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and holidays.

This is an hourly position with no guaranteed career progression, though internal promotion is encouraged. CNRG values internal candidates and considers experience for advancement.
