Job Description: The Lumber Yard / Warehouse Associate will be responsible for assisting customers with their lumber and building material needs, ensuring the yard is well-maintained and organized, and providing excellent customer service. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist customers in selecting and loading lumber and building materials
• Maintain a clean and organized lumber yard
• Operate forklifts and other equipment to move materials as needed
• Restock inventory and ensure product displays are neat and accessible
• Perform regular inventory checks and report any discrepancies
• Provide knowledgeable and friendly customer service
• Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment
• Assist with deliveries and loading/unloading of trucks
  
  

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in a lumber yard, warehouse, or similar environment is preferred
