Carter Lumber in Warren, OH is seeking a Yard Associate to assist contractors and do-it-yourselfers with selecting and loading orders. You will pull and stage materials for pickup or delivery, maintain yard inventory with cycle counts, and keep the yard organized and clean.

Training for forklift operation and certification is provided. Ideal candidates bring customer service experience, a friendly personality, and willingness to work outdoors in all conditions.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience required.
• Friendly personality and ability to work well in a team.
• Familiarity with building materials is helpful.
• Ability to work outside in all conditions.

Responsibilities

• Assist contractors and DIYers with selection and loading of orders.
• Pull and stage materials for pickup and/or delivery.

• Keep the yard organized and clean; operate a forklift and seek certification if needed.
