Job summary

84 Lumber Company is seeking an associate to cut engineered wood products to specifications and build loads for deliveries. The role includes loading and unloading lumber, maintaining a clean and safe yard, and operating saws and routers with routine maintenance of equipment.

The position offers full benefits and a schedule from Monday to Friday, typically 7am–4pm, with a wage of $18 per hour. This is a full-time, on-site opportunity supporting the Merriweather, MD area.

Qualifications

• Must read and comprehend documents, and write routine reports.
• Ability to speak in front of a small group.

Responsibilities

• Cuts product to specifications.
• Build loads for delivery.
• Load and unload lumber and building supplies.
• Keep the lumber yard clean, organized and safe.
• Operate automated or manual saw and router systems and perform routine maintenance.
• Use power saws, chain saws, routers, staplers, banders and other tools to prep wood materials.
