Job summary

84 Lumber is seeking an Associate to accurately cut engineered wood products and assemble loads for delivery. The role requires maintaining a safe, clean lumber yard, loading/unloading materials, and operating saws or routers with basic maintenance knowledge.

The position offers a daytime schedule, with benefits and a starting wage of $18 per hour. A physically active role, lifting up to 80 lbs, and forklift operation may be involved.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and comprehend documents (policy and procedure manuals).
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Ability to speak/present in front of a small group.

Responsibilities

• Cuts product to specifications.
• Build loads for delivery.
• Load and unload lumber and building supplies.
• Keeps lumber yard clean, well-organized and safe.
• Work with automated or manual saw and router systems and perform routine maintenance on machinery.
• Operate Power Saws, Chain Saws, Routers, Staplers, Banders and other tools to prep wood for EWP packages.
