US Lumber, an SBP Brand, is seeking a Material Handler - EWP to join our team in Alabama. The role focuses on operating forklifts, pulling orders, and preparing materials for shipment while maintaining safety and accuracy.

The team emphasizes quality, organization, and customer service, with strong opportunities for growth within Specialty Building Products' network across North America.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year warehouse distribution experience.
• Prior lumber experience desired; engineered lumber preferred.
• Forklift experience and certification preferred, but not required.
• Must have basic math and analytical skills.
• Must be computer literate: Word, Excel, Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate forklifts or other machinery to load/unload, move, stage, pull orders and transport material.
• Band, wrap, and tape products as needed.
• Maintain clean, organized warehouse area with correct product location.
• Work cooperatively with supervisors and staff to complete workload.
• Provide accurate, timely service to customers with attention to detail.
• Assist with inventory variances and order accuracy.
• Follow safety policies and perform forklift daily safety checks.
• Read tickets and product codes; learn to use chainsaw and Holtec Saw.
• Read tape measures and accurately pull daily orders.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisors.
