Qualifications

• Able to climb on/off forklift throughout the day.
• Attention to detail and patience crucial.
• Experience with chainsaws, tape measures, hand tools, air and electric power tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate tow motor (forklift) to move lumber within the yard.
• Load and unload kilns, pre-dryer, steam box, stacking racks, tally chains, and trucks as required.
• Place lumber on cross pieces and arrange cross pieces to prevent damage.
• Move between work areas to maintain production flow.
• Drive forklift and be trained/certified for size as required.
• Maintain forklift in good operating condition.
• Keep work area clean and observe safety practices.
