AL&M Building Supplies in Columbus, TX is seeking a reliable Yard worker to organize, load, and unload building materials, maintain a clean and safe yard environment, and assist customers and drivers with material handling.

This position requires physical strength, attention to detail, and a commitment to excellent service. You will work outdoors in varying weather conditions and operate a forklift as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service.
• Pulls and loads building materials into customer's vehicles safely and accurately.
• Drives forklift to unload delivery trucks, load customer vehicles, load AL&M delivery trucks.
• Stocks freight in their appropriate places (including lumber, roofing materials, sacks of concrete goods, piping, railroad ties, fencing, gates, etc).
• Maintains a safe, clean and well-organized lumber yard.
• Complies with all safety standards.
