Williams Lumber in Hopewell Junction, NY is seeking a Yard Associate to perform physical yard and warehouse tasks with a focus on safety and accuracy. You will assist customers, cut stock to spec, and help load deliveries under supervision.

Strong teamwork and reliability are essential for this full-time on-site role. The position requires a high school diploma or GED and related experience or training, with forklift competency preferred.

Competenze

• High School Diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• Experience or training related to yard operations preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and manuals.
• Basic math and measurement skills for cutting stock.

Mansioni

• Provide prompt, courteous customer service and assist with orders.
• Cut stock to size using stationary power saw and record on cut sheet.
• Notify supervisor of low stock items and prepare material for delivery.
• Assist with loading delivery vehicles and off-loading at job sites as needed.
• Prepare RMAs to confirm item type, quantity and condition.
• Keep assigned storage area tidy and maintain safe handling of materials.
