Job summary

Coastal Forest Products in Bow, NH is seeking a Lumber Yard Associate to ensure materials are picked and packed accurately to meet customer demand. This role works outdoors in the lumber yard year-round, Monday through Friday, with first shift hours starting at 6:00 AM.

You’ll organize inventory, maintain stock levels, and process orders efficiently to support product availability and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 18 years or older and legally able to work in the U.S.
• Dependable with strong attention to quality and safety
• Good multitasking and ability to follow safety protocols
• Willing to work first shift (6:00 AM start), Monday–Friday
• Warehouse or lumber experience is a plus but not required

Responsibilities

Job Overview

As a Lumber Yard Associate, you will ensure materials are accurately picked and packed in order to meet customer demands. By organizing inventory, maintaining stock levels, and ensuring orders are processed efficiently, you directly impact product availability, order accuracy, and customer satisfaction. This position works outdoors in our lumber yard year-round, Monday through Friday, first shift hours.

This is an excellent opportunity for those with some warehouse experience or entry-level candidates, as we provide on-the-job training and the chance to gain hands‑on experience in the lumber industry working with high-end specialty building materials.

What You'll Be Doing

What We're Looking For:

• 18 years or older and legally able to work in the U.S.

• Situational awareness and ability to use good judgement
• Experience in a lumber or warehouse setting is a plus but not required
• Ability to work first shift hours, with a 6:00AM start time, Monday-Friday

Physical Conditions and Work Environment

• Comfortable lifting and moving objects up to 50 lbs.
• Able to bend, stoop, kneel, and stand for extended periods
• Able to work in a warehouse environment and outdoor, lumber yard environment, around related equipment
• Ability to work outdoors and in all weather conditions
• On your feet for 80% of the day with frequent reaching above and below shoulder height
