Job summary

Great Southern Wood Preserving, Inc. is seeking Lumber Taggers / Groundskeepers for a full-time position with competitive pay and a full benefits package.

You will attach product tag labels, stack lumber, assist in assembling fence panels, check IDs, report deficiencies, and maintain inventory and housekeeping in the facility. Previous production experience and a high school diploma or GED are preferred; lumber experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous production experience preferred.
• Lumber experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Attach product tag labels to merchandise with hand-held stapler.
• Stack and move lumber pieces.
• Assist in assembling fence panels and other products using a nail gun.
• Check items for proper identification.
• Report quality deficiencies, shortages, and damaged goods.
• Keep records of inventory and check items for proper identification.
• Maintain housekeeping requirements throughout the facility.
• Other duties: painting, striping, trimming grass/weeds, trash removal, etc.
