Job description

The person in this position is responsible for servicing assigned Lowes’ stores by fulfilling the requirements of the company’s Stocking Program with Lowes, which includes stocking Novo materials that have been previously shipped to the store. The store covered for this role is in West Hazleton, PA. Pay starts at $20 per hour. This role is about 10 hours a week with availability on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays.

Essential Responsibilities

1. Ensure your safety while working in the Lowes store, as well as the safety of those around you, including Lowes personnel and customers.
2. Be courteous and professional to the customer.
3. Communicate effectively with Lowes store personnel.
4. Contact the Lowes receiving department of the store you are responsible for to confirm product availability.
5. Stock Novo products within 36 hours of delivery, after they have been received in the Lowes system, unless other arrangements are made.
6. Retrieve Novo products from inventory, break bundles, and stock products appropriately.
7. Ensure all Novo products are stocked neatly and look tidy, including straightening moulding and returning all products to their proper locations.
8. Stock moulding in the proper bin locations.
9. Keep aisles free of debris during stocking.
10. Properly dispose of all packing materials and bundle ties.
11. Return or arrange for the return of carts and racks to their proper locations.
12. Assist with store set/reset activities as needed.

Basic Qualifications (Required)

• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid un-restricted driver’s license.
• Proof of automobile insurance coverage.
• Good organizational and time management skills.
• Basic math skills.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience stocking customer stores.

Travel Requirements

Travel to assigned Lowes store(s) in a local geographic region.

Physical Requirements

The physical demands include standing, walking, bending, twisting, lifting, pushing, and pulling, with specific weight and duration requirements as detailed in the original description.
