Job summary

Georgia-Pacific is hiring for a Production Worker at our Camden, Texas Lumber mill, producing Southern Yellow Pine 3x4s and 4x4s for residential and commercial projects. You will learn lumber mill operations, stack lumber, and assist with equipment maintenance in a safety-conscious environment.

Applicants must be able to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and overtime, with a points-based attendance program in place.

Qualifications

• 6 months of experience in manufacturing, military, industrial, farming, agriculture, landscaping, carpentry, mechanical, or construction environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop skillsets to run lumber mill equipment.
• Remove lumber from conveyors and stack onto carts.
• Assist in cleanup, operation, and maintenance of production equipment including forklift and heavy equipment.
