Qualifications

• Work in a fast-paced environment, straighten lumber and keep lugs full.
• Inspect lumber on a moving belt, marking defects like knots, stains, decay, splits, wane, bugs, mold.
• Determine grade and trim to obtain the highest marketable value.
• Provide timely QA feedback to planer operators regarding quality and size issues.
• Must be able to obtain a grader certification.
• Strong mathematical skills and proficiency with sawmill electrical controls.
