Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to lift and move heavy materials.
• Experience driving large vehicles preferred.
• Basic knowledge of lumber and building materials is advantageous.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Order pulling: accurately pull and prepare orders for delivery, ensuring items match the customer's request and are in good condition.
• Loading: safely load materials onto delivery trucks, securing and organizing for unloading.
• Delivery: drive to customer locations to deliver orders, following traffic laws and safety regulations.
• Customer service: interact professionally with customers during deliveries, addressing questions or concerns and ensuring a positive experience.
• Vehicle maintenance: perform basic maintenance checks on delivery vehicles and report issues to management.
• Inventory management: assist in inventory counts and keep the lumberyard clean and safe.
• Team collaboration: work with others to improve efficiency and customer service.
• Other duties as assigned.
