Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license is required.
• Experience in forklift operation is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Order Fulfillment: Accurately pulling and preparing orders from inventory based on customer specs.
• Forklift Operation: Safely operating a forklift to move, lift, and position lumber and other heavy materials.
• Inventory Management: Assisting in inventory control, tracking stock levels, reporting discrepancies, and helping with counts.
• Quality Control: Checking materials for damage or defects and reporting/replacing as needed.
• Customer Service: Assisting customers, answering inquiries, and helping load materials into vehicles.
• Safety and Maintenance: Following safety protocols, keeping a clean area, and performing routine forklift maintenance.
• Team Collaboration: Working with the team to improve efficiency and productivity in the lumberyard.
