Job summary

84 Lumber Company in Greensburg is seeking a full-time Truck Driver to deliver materials to customer job sites, operate the forklift, and keep the lumber yard and warehouse organized.

Candidates must have a valid state-issued driver’s license, a safe driving record, and meet FMCSA requirements; a high school diploma or GED is required. Training and advancement opportunities are available within a family-owned culture.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Read and speak English sufficiently to communicate with the public, understand traffic signs, respond to inquiries, and make entries on reports.
• Safely operate the assigned commercial motor vehicle.
• Maintain a valid MVR and comply with FMCSA requirements.
• Possess or obtain a commercial motor vehicle license if required by the vehicle/hauler.
• Complete a driver’s road test and hold a valid certificate if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Deliver material to customer job sites.
• Operate forklift and maintain yard and warehouse.
• Build loads for delivery and unload freight.
• Communicate delays or discrepancies to management.
• Follow safety procedures and company policies.
