Job summary

Parr Lumber in Springfield, Oregon is seeking a Lumber Contractor Salesperson to drive new business with residential and commercial contractors. You will execute sales strategies, prospect aggressively, and coordinate account activities while supporting Parr’s Northwest service focus.

You’ll interact with store teams, suppliers, and leadership; possess strong English communication, and bring 2+ years of sales in building materials if possible. This role is full-time and customer-oriented.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• 2 years sales experience preferred.
• Prior experience in building materials industry preferred.
• Must be able to type 30+ WPM.
• Proficiency in Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Speak, read, write English.

Responsibilities

• Execute all aspects of the sales call process and strategies.
• Aggressively prospect new residential and commercial contractors.
• Cultivate relationships with builders and general contractors.
• Coordinate business activities of accounts and sales initiatives.
• Report to Division Sales Manager and collaborate with store teams.
