Governance is led by a Tribal Chairman and seven Council Members elected by Tribal membership, providing stable leadership and direction. Role Description The Lucky Bear Casino General Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Hoopa, CA. The General Manager is responsible for the overall leadership, operations, and strategic planning for the Lucky Bear Casino; their primary focus will initially be on rehabilitating the casino with strong marketing, brand exposure, and customer engagement promotions. This position will work cooperatively with the Gaming Commission to ensure the casino is working in accordance with applicable Tribal, State and Federal policies, Indian Gaming regulations and ensures internal control compliance. The incumbent is responsible for leading efforts to re-establish the casino’s presence in the community, drive customer traffic, and create a welcoming, high energy environment through targeted marketing campaigns, special events, promotions, and partnerships. This position is a highly active, leadership role that requires creativity, initiative, and the ability to rebuild momentum in a previously underutilized or underperforming operation.
